What positions are available in a store?

Manager, Assistant Manager, Full Time, Part-Time and Casual Sales Associates. You will find position descriptions for these roles within the application process. 

What’s the pay like?

Your starting pay at Foot Locker will be based on the General Retail Award (Australia only) which includes ‘penalty’ rates for late nights and weekends. Based on your work performance and enthusiasm your pay can increase with promotions and transfers to larger volume Stores. Incentives and bonuses also apply once you move into more senior roles within the company.

What hours would I have to work?

Your hours will vary depending on whether you work with us as a Casual, Part Timer or Full Timer. Full time associates work a 38 hour week and rosters are developed to ensure a fair rotation of late night & weekend work within the Store. Casuals are often employed to cover peak periods and can work in a number of different Stores depending on their availability and preference.

Is there a staff discount on Foot Locker product?

All Foot Locker associates and their immediate family members receive a 30% discount off all of our footwear, apparel and accessory product range. Conditions do apply with certain exclusive and premium product releases. 

What are the career prospects like?

Excellent! We have senior managers who have worked with the company for over 30 years. Many of our District and Store Managers started with us as Casuals when they were still at school. With a presence in over 20 countries and with our headquarters in New York City your career at Foot Locker can take you as far as you want to go!
