The Foot Locker NZ website is not currently operating as an online store. It is more a catalogue of the many products we have available across our network of stores and the place to find out the latest on products, releases and sneaker culture.

Where do I buy a gift card from, and what values can I buy them in?

Gift Cards can be purchased from any store in New Zealand and can be loaded with any dollar amount up to $500. When redeemed, Gift Cards can be used more than once until the total amount is spent, and there is no expiry date. Gift Cards purchased in New Zealand can only be redeemed in New Zealand.

I found a product online and I’m wondering if you sell it. How do I ask?

Most of our styles are listed on the website and/or listed in our monthly releases calendar, however, if there’s a product that you like that you can’t find on our site and you want to check, please contact a Foot Locker store and they will be able to advise whether they have it in stock. Unfortunately if we don’t have it in stock, we will not be able to secure it for you as all the styles we stock are ordered months in advance.

I live a fair distance from any of your stores. Can I have product sent to me at home?

Foot Locker New Zealand is a store based retailer. Unfortunately we do not post product, it can only be purchased from instore.

Where do I go to keep track of the latest releases?

Each month we post a blog with the following months releases. Blogs are also posted a few days prior to particular styles releasing confirming the release date (as they do change from time to time), list of stores the release with be available at and the size range. Our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter sites are also a great place to stay up to date with the latest news.

I need to speak to someone about my club membership. What should I do?

The best option is to send us a query via the Contact Us page. From there we can organise a new card for you, update your details or reset you password. Alternatively you can update your details by logging into your account via our Club page. You can also pop into any of our stores and speak to a Sales Associate. (New program)

I’ve seen a product in our store but I can’t find it online.

When products have almost sold out, they may be removed from the website. This means that if you see a product in store and it is no longer on the website, the product may still available, however we may only have limited sizes or quantity left.

I’ve tried finding a product on Eastbay and they don’t seem to ship to New Zealand. I’d like to know why.

Foot Locker Asia Pacific is a standalone division of Foot Locker Inc, which is based in New York.  Foot Locker Inc owns and operates a broad range of businesses that operate independently. One of these is Eastbay.com, which itself is headquartered in Wausau, Wisconsin. Eastbay has no commercial operations in Asia Pacific. Eastbay’s decisions, including decisions with regard to shipment and distribution of product, are made wholly independently of Foot Locker Asia Pacific and so any questions or feedback regarding these decisions should be directed to Eastbay.

Can I lay-by?

We do offer lay-bys for our range excluding Limited Release styles. The following terms apply:

  • Minimum 20% deposit (refundable) is required
  • $5 non-refundable fee applies to all lay-bys
  • Maximum lay-by term of 30 days

I’d like to buy a limited release item from Foot Locker. What’s the usual process?

In order to keep it fair for everyone, Foot Locker has a first in, first served policy in regard to limited releases. Where there is a line-up, staff will facilitate the sales such that the first person in line is served first. We recommend you get to store early to give yourself the best opportunity to get a pair in your preferred size. If demand for a particular release far outweighs the allocation available, Foot Locker will implement an Expression of Interest (EOI) registration. In the interest of customer safety, Foot Locker does not encourage overnight line up arrangements for limited release product. As a result, EOI registrations will be taken leading up to the release date as stated in the release updates blog on our website. For more information on EOI registrations please contact your local Foot Locker store that will implement the procedure.

Foot Locker also has a limit of one limited release pair per customer to ensure as many people as possible have a chance to purchase. However, if you have purchased a pair and would like another, you are able to rejoin the end of the line to purchase a second pair if stock is still available. For more information on Limited Release rules please contact your local Foot Locker store.

What’s the best way to find out if a product has been released to your stores on time?

With releases that have had a release date listed, it is a good idea to check the website blog a few days out to confirm the release details (stores and sizes), however on rare occasions, we have unexpected delays in stock being delivered to stores. In these cases we post on the blog as soon as we are made aware of the delay, which for Limited Release or Quickstrike releases may be the day prior. We recommend checking the blog regularly the day prior to a release for updates. Also call the store you intend to visit requesting an update on their delivery.

How do I send you a donation or sponsorship request?

Foot Locker Asia Pacific has a preferred charity that we support and at this stage all available contributions go toward supporting this organisation. You are welcome to send through a request for donations or sponsorship for review via our Contact Us page. Please be advised that due to the large number of requests we get on a daily basis, please allow 4 weeks for your requests to be reviewed.

Of course! If you’ve got the Foot Locker passion for great customer service and premium product selection then we would love to hear from you! Why not take the time to drop off your CV with the local Store Manager so that we can contact you when an opportunity does come up? I’ve seen a product I really like, but my local store doesn’t have it in stock. Can I have the item transferred from another store?

Our stores can organise to have products transferred if they don’t have it in stock, excluding Limited Release styles. In some cases, the style may have sold out in your size so it’s not always possible, but our team will always do what we can!

I’ve seen a product on the Foot Locker US website. Can I get it from New Zealand?

Unfortunately not. Although Foot Locker has stores globally, US, Europe, Canada and Asia Pacific are each individual divisions who work directly with the brand partners in our respective regions. As a result, not all products are available in New Zealand, even though Foot Locker in the US has the item in stock. Keep an eye out though and feel free to let us know via the Contact Us page if you like something you’ve seen from a different Division as we may have it, or something similar, coming in soon (different seasons), or we can take your feedback on board when reviewing ranges in the future.

What is your policy on Limited Release styles?

Foot Locker Asia Pacific has a strict policy in regard to Limited Release styles to ensure its fair for everyone.

  • No Holds (customers and Foot Locker employees)
  • No Lay-bys
  • Numbered tickets may be handed out 30 minutes prior to the release to people waiting in line to ensure the order is maintained.
  • The customer may purchase one (1) pair of the Limited Release style, and has the option to return to the end of the queue
  • No more than 3 pairs may be sold to one customer without approval by the Foot Locker VP Operations.
  • Maximum 10% discount applies for Foot Locker Club members
  • Employees can purchase the product at a maximum 10% discount
  • All Employees must line-up like all customers
  • Product is not to be transferred out of the allocated store until authorized by the relevant merchandiser (via the Hold Release Table)

There is a release that I really wanted to buy, but I’ve just seen that you’re not getting it. Why?

Foot Locker works hard to bring you the hottest, the latest and the greatest products available, however on occasion we can’t get a hold of exactly what we (or you) want. It could be because the product hasn’t been made available to the brand in our region (which leads to us not getting it), or it may not have been offered to us (I know, right??!?). If there is a style that you would love us to stock, feel free to let us know via the Contact Us page, as the more demand we have, the more we can push to get it!

I want this new release product, but it’s not going to be available at my local store. Why?

We allocate product to stores based on the history of similar styles / colours in each store – some stores have a huge demand for running, some classic basketball and others caps etc. We allocate as best we can to meet the needs of our customers.

Do you offer pre-orders or pre-purchase options on your releases?

No we don’t. To keep the process as fair as possible for all customers, we offer new releases in a first in, first served fashion on the day.

I live overseas but really like one of the colourways that you stock. Can I purchase it and have it sent to me?

Unfortunately not. Foot Locker Asia Pacific can only send product to customers with a mailing address in New Zealand. If you have a friend or family member in New Zealand, maybe you could ask them to arrange on your behalf.
